1943 Gibson Banner J-45
Light as a feather, this banner J-45 has an Adirondack top (red spruce) made of 4 pieces. A feature noted in John Thomas's book, "Kalamazoo Gals", this guitar is a great example of Gibson's resourceful nature and their ability to produce guitars during a war period when they weren't supposed to be making any. The burst on this instrument is exquisite and it's overall condition is near mint. Crack free, it plays like butter and has a classic banner J-45 voice. Woody and warm yet clear and crisp. "Only a Gibson is Good Enough" to sound like this.
