1953 Gibson J-45
A great classic ! The early 50's J-45, still bearing the tapered headstock of pre-war Gibsons as well as the light bracing and a nice, meaty neck. These have become quite hard to source over the last 10 years or so, so I'm grateful to have this one in stock. All original and recently neck set and set up by Dave King, she's ready for stage or screen and is a great sounding instrument. Woody, rich and so typical of this early mahogany sound.
