1953 Gibson J-45
A good example of the Gibson workhorse. Lovely burst and color. It's been played and has had some repairs to backcracks along the way. Finish on back has been rubbed out and oversprayed to seal the healed cracks. The bridge could be ok or a very good replacement....I've had Gibsons in the past that had different colored bridges to boards. If it's a replacement, it's as good as it needs be. It has a tremendous sound that is immediate and crisp which is unusual for this era J-45. Very powerful and lovely to play. This model is becoming harder and harder to source and it's very rare that we have 3 at one time these days.....when it used to be a minimum number in stock.
