1927 C.F. Martin 0-18 Koa (hold)
An exceptional un-played example of this rare and very desirable model.....the 0-18 Koa. With solid koa rims and back and top, mahogany neck and all original appointments, it has a voice that is characteristically koa, which means crisp yet fat and powerful but subtle at the touch. When Koa gets this old, it develops a hybrid sound that is the best of all worlds. The power and punch of rosewood with the warmth and clarith of old mahogany.......a clear and crisp delivery with an immediacy that is astounding accompanied by a maturity and articulation that one expects from a guitar of this vintage. Scalloped bracing doesn't hurt.
