1937 C.F. Martin "bone" 000-28
113 built in 1937 This is the most prized period of Martin guitars and to find a 30's bone 000-28 is like finding nirvana. Pre-war forward shifted bracing, all original and crack free excluding the ubiquitous "B" string crack. The sound: Holy Grail pre-war forward shifted magnificence with no comparable instrument out there. Provenance: Gryphon Strings,1983 and includes their hang tag. There is as light overspray to the top in worn areas, otherwise original finish and the rest is untouched. I don't know what more to say about this machine without getting stupidly verbose. It's just beyond words.
