Exceptionally beautiful Koa tonewoods with a Bear Claw grained Sitka spruce top and mahogany neck. Gotoh 510 tuners. I have always loved Koa as a tone wood and this in one of the most beautiful guitars that I've seen out of this. Exceptional in every way with a clear, gloss finish overall It has the traditional Benjamin Scoop out of Macassar Ebony, which also is used on the fingerboard and bridge. Tonally, this guitar is exceptional. The Koa is dry with a very immediate response and a controlled decay. Very clear and crisp and the guitar plays beautifully. As new conditon with it's original case. A great example of Benjamin's best work and with a 2 year waiting list at the luthiers, to find 3 at once on the open market is truly a unique opportunity to acquire one of Nick's guitars. A really rare thing. and I must add. I am a vintage acoustic guitar dealer exclusively with Martins and Gibsons..............and these are here !! I make no apologies. They are brilliant instruments for the modern acoustic player.
