1956 Gibson J-200 Natural
A wonderfully characterful '56 J-200 in natural finish. Exceptional patination overall and all original with a voice that wakes the angels. Maple rims and back with a sitka spruce top that look more like maple with it's deep patina, maple neck and rosewood board and bridge. It has a fat, C radius neck finished at the upper end with the traditional "stinger". Original Kluson gilt tuners and keystone buttons. I've had a lot of these over the years and this one has possibly the strongest voice and clearest articulation of them all. No boxy guitar here......it's fully resonant and projects as one would wish with clarity and a quick response. Just a super instrument in it's possibly original "California Girl" case and I won't explain the meaning of that term !!!!
