1930's Larson Bros. Stahl #6
If there is any group of instruments that, in my humble opinion, are underrated and undervalued, it's this group right here. The Larson Bros. And if there is a guitar that can honestly compete with the best that Martin has to offer in the early, fingerpicking style than it's the Larson guitars. I've owned this before and gladly, it's back. I had forgotten just how sublime this instrument is. All original with laminated X bracing having a rosewood core and the thinnest body that I've known. Beautiful brazilian rosewood back and sides of the color we find in the 30's and early 40's Martin instruments with that beautiful brick red patination. Adirondack spruce top with checkered bindings and soundhole surround, ebgony bridge with cross pearl inlays and decorative inlays in the ebony board and headstock. Slot head, obviously. Sound? Come play it !!!!
