1933 C F Martin 0 17
What a beautiful machine this is. An early 30's mahogany topped 0-17 in all original condition with the most gorgeous patination, playwear and finish. I've never had one like this and it seems to have a slight burst in the finish, which I also have never seen before. The beauty of these pre-war all mahogany guitars is that they were built to the same specs as all their spruce topped guitars so the sound quality that they produce is just beautiful. Thin whispy fully scalloped bracing, small maple bridge plate and a really gorgeous radius to the neck. Just the right amount of wood to give you the perfect playing feel. The finish is dark and transparent showing all the grain and color......the logo has turned golden and it's just .....well, the best of the best.
