Rare things these pre-war series 17 instruments. 954 made in this year, all with mahogany bodies and top, mahogany neck and fully scallloped and forward shifted bracing. Voila !!! The magic combo. This old gal has been played more than most and has seen some stuff we'll never know about but it's all there excluding the missing pick guard, which I'm sure has been off longer than it was on. Warm, woody voice with a shorter sustain and lovely colors in the voice of this little box. A superb folk guitar to play the likes of the Bobster or Joan Baez.......
