1968 C.F. Martin Brazilian 000-28 (sold)
Such rare instruments, these brazilian 000-28's from the late 60's. I actually see more earlier examples than these '65-'68's and they are no lesser the machine. This guitar has beautiful solid Brazilian rosewood rims and back with a solid Sitka spruce top, multiple bindings and original Grover tuners. The finish is all original and the pickguard has been changed. There are a few cracks to the front that have been stabilized and the guitar sings for it's supper. Beautiful, long ranging sustain and backtones with a warm but crisp sound. Very easy to play and the radius at the nut is ultimately comfortable. Just a really sweet, played example of these very desirable Brazilian Martin 000-28's.
