1972 S. L. Mossman Custom Brazilian
I've always admired the product of Stuart Mossman, a Mid-westerner who's philosophy was to make the finest luthier buiilt guitars in America. From the very lat 60's he built marvelous instruments and this is one of them. I've never seen a Brazilian example by Mossman, but I knew they existed. This example is pearl bound with lovely grained brazilian tonewoods with a very dark spruce top, of what deravation I don't know but it looks like Englemann to me. In all original condition with some minor playwear, it's a powerful instrument with great clarity and response. Just a delight to play.
