A lovely example of the 1948 Martin 000-18. All original and in exactly the amount of playwear that one would expect from a 40's Martin that has seen action. What you see is what you get. There are 2 cracks to the bottom bout, all stable and unoffensive. Otherwise, it's clean with some playwear here and there. Lovely mahogany rims and back with a Sitka Spruce top, brazilian board and bridge and mahogany neck.
Tonally, it's warm and woody with a really strong bottom end that sings at no expense to the other ranges. It verges on a D-18 for fullness of harnomics and power, which isn't common in such a small guitar. Plays beautifully and needs nothing.
