1951 CF Martin D-28
A well played but all original example of a '51 workhorse D-28. Played professionally on stage in America and Ireland for most of it's life, it's been well used and cared for. Beefy neck that brings the all important voice that these early instruments always have. Big, woody and powerful sound with an imposing amount of projection and harmonics. These well played guitars have always opened up to produce the best sound possible and the playwear is just perfect. When it came to us from the family, it had an added pickguard and was set up left handed. We have fixed the left handed thing and the pickguard came away without any witness of it having been there, thanks to small favors. Great instrument.....I'd say musically faultless
